Brand Identity

M-5 Films is a Maryland-based film production company. The bold and simple letterforms maximize impact; the use of black and gold was a request of the client (reflecting the company owner’s favorite color combination). The “illusion” of the hyphen evokes multiple symbols: a key (opening doors), an exclamation point, or rays of light emanating from a bulb or film projector.
